I don’t usually do reviews but I have asked Mr Imam if I can email anyone in the hospital to show my appreciation. The nurse gave me a card to do a review here. To cut it short, I’m very grateful that I was lucky to be referred to him. I have problems in my right shoulder for years and had multiple surgeries over the last decade. My first surgery was as a kid twenty something years in the royal orthopaedic hospital in north London. I had more than one surgery after that. For the last few years, I have been troubled by pain all the time and I’m a very active person. Then my doctor referred me to mr imam who has examined and advised me about the different routes for treatment. He examined me fully and listened fo all what I have said. He identified the problem and we agreed on surgery. Immediately after surgery I can sense the difference. I’m aware it won’t be fully back to normal but what I already have five weeks after surgery is more than enough to me compared to the misery I had in the last few months or even years. I have 100% trust in this man!!!! I don’t think I’ll see someone else! For my shoulder!!

I have always loved the nhs and knew how crucial it is for us. Clinicians like Dr/Mr Imam are the reasons we should always fight to maintain the NHS. He is an excellent clinician, a lovely person and a very keen surgeon. When I had my referral, I googled him and I was excited with the number of awards as well as the huge travelling experience he had. Mr Imam published hundreds of papers!! And even without knowing so, you can tell that after few minutes. I thought he will be an arrogant consultant who would not answer my questions; actually the opposite happened. Although, he had a very busy clinic, he listened to me fully and answered all my questions thoroughly. He even showed me a video with the proposed surgery to my shoulder. He told me about the expected time points after the procedure. Now that I am 4 weeks after my surgery, I sincerely thank him and his team including his registrar and his secretary and everyone involved. Actually prior to the surgery, I wanted to pay for it privately but he said he is listing me on the nhs and it won’t take long especially that clinically my surgery should be urgent. I have enjoyed my experience fully at all time points. THANK YOU ALL!

Mr Imam is a very knowledgable and highly skilled surgeon on all levels! He did what I can say magic to my shoulder. I could not ask for a better service. He is a sincere person who tells you what to expect in advance at all time points. He makes you feel very important!! He only talks evidence and he doesn’t hesitate to take the extra step whenever needed! I personally can’t recommend him enough!
